The Thane District Football Association was formed to promote world’s most favourite sport at all the levels across Thane district. Thane district has produced some of finest players, who have demonstrated their skills at the national as well as international level.
Taking this tradition forward and an objective to identify new talent and groom them for national as well as international levels, Thane District Football Association was constituted.
TDFA was constitued in 1988 and has been running the TDFA league ever since.
